Functional Planning

Functional planning in VPM is executed inside the collaborative planning event, not as a separate planning bureaucracy. Each lane owner brings functional depth, then aligns dependencies, timing, and handoffs with other lanes until one integrated schedule is credible.

Where the Detailed Method Lives

• Project Planning Event: event structure, lane alignment, dependency reconciliation, and compression flow.

Functional Planning Output

At the end of functional planning, each lane has explicit owned tasks, clear predecessor-successor links, and phase-level execution detail aligned to one integrated project schedule.
