Team Selection

Team selection is where execution reliability starts. VPM needs a committed core team that can make decisions during planning and show up consistently during daily management, plus support contributors who can be pulled in quickly when risk or technical depth requires it.

Team Architecture

• Core team: lane owners and leaders accountable for ongoing delivery decisions.
• Delegates: qualified backups who represent a lane when a core owner is unavailable.
• Support team: contributors and SMEs who execute work within lanes and join as needed.
• Leadership participants: decision support during kickoff, compression, and escalations.

• Creating Ownership and Accountability: who needs to be in the room for collaborative planning and why.
